We are very happy to have started a collaboration with met Sebastian van Damme, a Rotterdam architect and photographer. Read more about Sebastian and his work.

 

‘Transparency’ is a photo exhibition that researches the symbiosis between the diversity of worlds around us and the role that architecture plays in it. Every individual experiences this kind of interaction in different ways. One can recognise himself – and act – as visitor, voyeur, partner, passer-by or outsider.

The exhibition shows work of 6 photographers; Baijg, Raban Haaijk, Tamara Stoevelaar, Ossip van Duivenbode, Sebastian van Damme and Zoë D. Cochia. ‘Transparency’ is the first result of a collaboration between NIFFO Gallery and IMAGE OF THE CITY.
 
Opening: Friday August 11^th at 17.00hrs
The exhibition last until August 30^th.

ikRotterdam draw the city of Rotterdam. Sometimes important buildings, sometimes small things that happen. I came past this old port crane and recognised their work 'Hijskraanhuisje' (crane-with-cabin) from 2014. Funny, a had passed this place hundreds of times, but only recognised it this time.

We will be at Kaapse Markt #Christmas Edition on Sunday, dec. 18th.

Ella Vermaas has made a series of photos about urban change and the role of the creative sector in that process. The works show the Fenix warehouses on Katendrecht and their (partly temporary) users Posse espressobar and Theater Walhalla. 

Spent some days in Paris during autumn holidays. Lovely city - as always ;-). Some pictures here I took with my good old Hipstamatic App.
